Small changes in your environment and pace can make recognition more reliable.
Voice recognition works best when the audio is clean. These five habits help.
1. Choose a quiet place
Fans, traffic, television and other voices all compete with your recitation. A quiet room makes the biggest difference.
2. Keep the microphone close
Hold your phone or sit near your device’s microphone, about an arm’s length away or closer. Avoid covering the microphone with your hand.
3. Recite at a steady, measured pace
Very fast recitation can blur words together, and long pauses can leave gaps. Recite at a calm, even pace, the way you would in careful learning.
4. Recite a full Ayah
A single common word appears in many verses. A full Ayah, or a few consecutive words, gives the system enough to identify the right place.
5. Stop the recording promptly
Tap the button again as soon as you’ve finished, so the recording doesn’t pick up extra background sound.
If it still doesn’t work
Check that your browser has microphone permission, that you’re using a modern browser, and that you’re on a secure (HTTPS) connection. Then try again. A “Voice not recognized” message simply means the match wasn’t strong enough, and trying again with a clearer recording often solves it.
